CycleWise:
stopping unexpected pregnancies upstream
CycleWise, ZoeCare's body literacy program, empowers our patients with facts to know their unique female body and how it functions in a state of health. CycleWise appointments are tailored to their educational needs and may include topics such as:
- Anatomy and physiology as it relates to the reproductive and endocrine systems showing that reproductive health is controlled by hormones and the balance of these hormones is vital to overall health.
-
Recognition of biomarkers which show hormonal activity and are signs of health, and instruction in how to track them.
-
Guidance and consultation in becoming proficient at charting biomarkers and identifying any potential health issues which can then be referred for medical care when needed.
Studies show that women who are educated in body literacy have sex outside of marriage less, get pregnancy less, and, when they do get pregnant, more readily accept their pregnancy as a natural result of how their body functions, rather than a problem to be eliminated. CycleWise attacks the issues of sex, pregnancy, and abortion upstream before they become crises, thus empowering women to live better and saving innocent pre-born lives.
